Greetings Directed
by Kathy Fladten
July 28 - August 7
Tom
Dudzick's Off-Broadway play "Greetings," introduces the Gorski
family-Phil, Emily, Andrew and Mickey-as they gather for Christmas at their home
in Pittsburgh. Phil, the retired father of two sons, is deeply religious and
patriotic but has become cynical about life. His wife, Emily, is full of
Christmas cheer and tradition. Their son Andrew has come home from New York with
his fiancee, Randi Stern, to meet the family. Mickey, the other son, is mentally
handicapped. The fact that Randi is Jewish causes some humorous
discussions, and it is Mickey who strengthens the family bond for the holiday.
