This Tony Award-winning musical is about a traveling salesman, Harold Hill, who cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for the band he vows to  organize—despite the fact he doesn’t know a trombone from a treble clef.  His plans are foiled when he falls for the local librarian.  Familiar songs:  76 Trombones, Gary Indiana, The Wells Fargo Wagon, and Till There Was You.

The large cast includes Tzeitel Dutmer as Marion, Kevin von Feldt as Harold Hill, Nancy Erickson-Dutmer as Mrs. Paroo, Isaiah Jensen as Winthrop Paroo, Jeff Martin as Mayor Shinn, Carol Hougdahl as Eulalie Shinn, Elizabeth Jutila as Zaneeta Shinn, Madelyne Arrigoni as Gracie Shinn, Dave Mickelson as Marcellus Washburn/ Salesman,  Ed Martin as Tommy Djilas, and Kate Lewis as Amaryllis.  The Quartet features John Dutmer as Jacey Squires, Don Fritz as Ewart Dunlop, Wayne Olson as Oliver Hix, and Scott Jensen as Olin Brit.  The Pick-a -Little ladies are Mary Hankins as Mrs. Squires, Amanda Jensen as Alma Hix, Holly Wiesner as Ethel Toffelmeir, and Rachel Westburg as Maud Dunlop.  Salesmen/Passengers include Ross Weinert, John Dutmer, James Peterson, Ed Hougdahl, and Michael Yost.   Townspeople include:  Adele Richie, Amber Gonske, Julie Reid., Samantha Chuchwar, Hannah Arrigoni, Katelyn Baribeau, Joseph Jensen, Cailin Capra, Catherine Krance.   Townspeople-Dancers are Jessica Buchman, Amanda Arnold, Emma Martin, and Olivia Jensen.   Members of the boys band are Craig Louis, Sam Brunclik, Andrew Buchman, Tanner Richie, Shane Pisa, and Lee Pisa.

The show is Directed by Nick Sirek, with Musical Director John Dutmer, and Choreography by Tzeitel Dutmer, and Nancy Erickson-Dutmer.
