Located in the lower level, the Red Barn Gallery is a place to showcase local artists.  A different artist is featured during each production.  Take some time and enjoy some extraordinary art during intermission or after the show.

    May 28-June 7        Artwork by Kristine Iverson  - framing and artwork

 

    June 18-28             Artwork by Patricia Mayhew Hamm   - Chetek Artist Patricia Mayhew Hamm has been painting for 30 years, uses textures made with various acrylic medium, water media, metals, and other materials in collages.  She has taught painting, drawing and calligraphy at Wisconsin Technical College .  Her works are displayed in galleries in Wisconsin , Minnesota and Missouri .

 

    July 9-19               Artwork by Don Ruedy  - oil and water color painting   Mr. Ruedy held the positions of Professor of Art at UW Barron County, Chairman of the Art Department for all Wisconsin 2 year campuses, and is currently Professor Emeritus. Mr. Ruedy’s gallery exhibitions are too numerous to mention, but the life size sculpture of the WWII soldier in Bronze in Rice Lake’s City Park and the oil portrait of Paul Chase, Dean of UW Barron Campus at the campus are his commisions. Watercolor, Oil and Pastel painting, especially portraits, as well as wood, clay, bronze and concrete sculpture are his specialties.

 

    July 30-9             Artwork by Linda Ruedy -  will be featured in the gallery. Ms. Ruedy’s photography consists of nature with composition of flowers, birds and wildlife.  She has exhibited her works in the Courtyard Gallery in Chetek, UW Barron County Campus, Marshfield Clinic in Rice Lake , Dancing Bird in Cumberland , Shell lake’s Potter’s Shed, The Purple Pelican in Spooner, The pain Clinic in Rice Lake and Hudson as well as galleries in Weyerhauser and Ladysmith.

 

    Aug. 20-30           Artwork by Andrea Avery   will be featured showcasing her acrylic paintings, drawings, hand sewing, mixed media and serigraphy.   Andrea Avery lives in Milwaukee and is presently attending the University of WI-Milwaukee securing a MFA in drawing and painting.  She has been an educator in Wisconsin and Minnesota , as well as an Educational Coordinator at Milwaukee ’s Discovery World.   Of her several honors most recently she was awarded the UW-Milwaukee Peck School of the Arts Fellowship.
