16th on the Red Barn stage is the comedy Ramona Quimby dramatized
by Len Jenkins from Beverly Cleary’s novel.
Ramona is always aggravating her sister Beezus, getting into trouble, and
throwing a big “noisy fuss” when she doesn’t get her way.
Beezus narrates the series of family vignettes
tracing Ramona’s 3rd
grade year. Their middle-class
family faces problems common to most families, it is how they deal with them
that will make the audience smile.
Ramona Quimby is played by Sara Gonske, while Mia Penzkover plays Beezus.
Their parents are
played by Adele Richie and Tommy Youston. Other
