Church Basement Ladies is a musical comedy featuring four ladies of various ages cooking meals for church functions in a rural Minnesota Lutheran Church.
This fun musical comedy with it’s delightful original music takes place in 1965. The characters from matriarch of the kitchen to a young bride-to- be share and debate recipes, keep the Pastor in line, and ward off potential
disasters
Sylvia Issacson takes the role of Mrs. Lars Snustead (Vivian), Chris Thompson as Mrs. Gilmer Gilmerson (Mavis)Carol Hougdahl as Mrs.Elroy Engelson(Karin), Ella Olson as Miss Signe Engelson while Bob Rogers
takes the role of Pastor E.L.Gunderson. Directed by Anne Kysley with Musical Director John Dutmer the musical iswritten by Jim Stowell and Jessica Zuehlke with lyrics and music by Drew Jansen.
