Mystery, music and many laughs explode on the Red Barn stage from July 12-July 22 with the Tony nominated musical comedy, “Curtains.”  A collaboration of Rupert Holms, John Kandor, Fred Ebb and Peter Stones, this crowd pleaser will take audiences on a hilarious journey. Local detective, Lieutenant Frank Cioffi (played by Ben Heer of Rice Lake) investigates the mysterious death of the leading lady on stage on opening night!

Artistic director and choreographer Cathy Jones Wolf, along with musical director John Dutmer of Chetek, bring additional talented cast members together for this witty and charming romp.  Bobby Pepper is played by Ben Ankarlo of Cumberland. Also appearing on stage from Cumberland are Julia Armstrong as Bambi Bernet, Jackson Liedl as Aaron Fox, Jeremy Westin as Johnny Harmon and Randy Dexter, and Tommy Yousten as Daryl Grady.  Amanda Arnold from Barron adds her voice as Georgia Hendricks.  Additionally coming from Rice Lake are Paul Baribeau as Oscar Shapiro, Gabby Meinen as Connie Subbotin, and Isabel Thurston as Niki Harris.  Traveling from Chippewa Falls are Holly Dalsveen as Carmen Bernstein and Jeff Dalsveen as Christopher Belling. Turtle Lake actors are Carol Hougdahl as Jessica Crenshaw and Mona Page and Ed Hougdahl as Sydney Bernstein and Harve Fremont. John Dutmer steps out of the pit to portray Sasha Iljinski.

Red Barn gallery coordinator, Patsy Vork, is pleased to announce that oil paintings by Don Ruedy and framed photographs by Linda Ruedy will be the featured art for this show.  The work of the Ruedys is also at the Dancing Bird Studio in Cumberland.
