The Greek Island Kalokairi with the music of ABBA comes to the Red Barn Theatre stage in the musical Mamma Mia!  Sophie Sheridan (AshtonBlick) is preparing to marry Sky (Bennett Koenitzer) at her mother’s Taverna.  Mom, Donna (Donna Gagner) is excited for the arrival of her long-term friends Tanya (Amanda Arnold), and Rosie (Holly Wiesner).  Little does she realize that Sophie wants her father, whom she has never met, at the  wedding.  Sophie’s attempt to find her father creates the plot of the show.

 

Mark Berger, Jake Donze, and Tommy Yousten take on the roles of Sam Carmichael, Harry Bright, and Bill Austin.  Other cast members include: Laurel Wagner, Ella Olson, John Zook, Ben Ankarlo, Sydney Frandsen, Hannah Farm, Rachel Westberg, Leslie Olson, Carol Hougdahl, Deb Kronier, Jasmyn Collins, and Ed Hougdahl.

 

Collaborating again this season are Cathy Jones Wolf as Director and John Dutmer Musical Director.

 

Familiar tunes include:  “Dancing Queen”, “Super Trooper”, “Take a Chance On Me”, and “Mamma Mia” plus many more.

Artists from Dallas, WI will be featured in the Gallery during Mamma Mia!  Ann Lee, painter from the Valkyrie

Brewery as well as Kim Losse from Losse Pottery Gallery will display their paintings and pots. The Losse pots are decorated by Donna Millard also from Dallas.
