Statement on Red Barn Theatre Reopening: The Red Barn Theatre Board of Directors is extremely excited to welcome you back for the 2021 season!
We have a terrific slate of shows lined up and we hope you enjoy our 60th season!
During the summer of 2020 and because of the Corona virus closure we were able to make some much needed updates to the Red Barn. You will notice that the house floor has been sloped and the steps have been removed. What might be less noticeable is the entirely new stage floor and rebuilt ceiling in the gallery space. We also spent part of the COVID closure sorting, cleaning, and thinning out costumes, set pieces and props. We were able to complete all this work because of many generous volunteers and the leadership of Terry Wiesner, Boyd Stearns, and Chris Olsen. We are grateful for everyone’s time, talent, and dedication. While we are looking forward to having patrons back at the Barn there will be a few changes for the 2021 season. We will be presenting four shows instead of the usual five. Additionally, 2020 and 2021 gift certificates will be honored when presented at the ticket booth. The certificates will be good for our four shows this season only. We will not be selling new season certificates this year.
We are also committed to do as much as we can to keep everyone healthy and safe. In an effort to comply with CDC guidelines we welcome fully vaccinated patrons to enjoy the show without a mask and we ask non-vaccinated individuals to please wear a mask while inside the theatre and gallery areas. Please note that seating may also be limited. Lastly, we will continue to watch the evolving CDC guidelines on COVID health and safety. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding as we all navigate the reopening and as we try to provide a safe experience for everyone.
