It’s Football Season at the Red Barn!

“Dad’s Season Tickets,” the final show and musical of the Red Barn season (August 20-August 30), is the perfect way to gear up for football season in northwest Wisconsin. Teaming again this year for another entertaining production are Bob Rogers (Chetek) as artistic director and Rachel Elbin (Cameron) as music director with Nancy Dutmer (Chetek) adding her expertise as the choreographer. Also returning for set design and construction are Rogers and Wayne Olson (Chetek). Originally and recently produced by Matt Zembrowski for the Northern Sky Theatre in Door County, “Dad’s Season Tickets” throws pass after pass for winning touchdowns with a seasoned cast.  

 

When season ticket holder Frank Kosinski (Carl Liden of Barron) decides  to leave his season tickets to one of his three adult daughters, the skirmishes, songs and dances fly.  Portraying eldest daughter Rhonda Kafura is Amber Wolfe (Rice Lake) with Jeff Dalsveen (Cameron) playing husband Ralph Kafura.   Rachel Westberg (Chetek) and Paul Baribeau (Rice Lake) take on the roles of middle daughter and husband Gabby and Edgar Nimwitz.  Frank’s youngest daughter, high school senior Cordy Kosinski is portrayed by Zoe Nelson (Sand Creek).  Crowd pleasing songs include “When You Live in Green Bay” and “What Do You Do With a Bye Week.”
