Auditions

The Red Barn Theatre will be holding auditions for the 2026 season on Saturday, February 21 at UWEC-Barron County in Rice Lake. Please complete this form to register for auditions. 

Audition Check-in: 9:00am to 9:30am

• It is strongly recommended to complete the online form prior to February 21.

• Complete the online form if not already done.

Musical Auditions: 9:30am - Theatre

• Both musicals will conduct basic vocal auditions.

  • Vocal range.

  • Group and individual singing from the score chosen by the musical director.

• Reading auditions will be held following the vocal audition.

Non-Musical Auditions: 9:30am - Choir Room

• The three directors will ask people auditioning to read a variety of parts and with a variety of other auditioners.

Other Notes:

• We strongly encourage people to arrive before 9:30am.

  • Latecomers will be worked into auditions once registered.

• People wanting to audition for both musicals and non-musicals should start with vocal auditions in the theatre.

• Please allow the creative staff three weeks before casting is announced. Casting will be announced by phone, email, or text.
