The bittersweet sunset romance between 75 year old Ralph Bellini and 72 year old Carol Reynolds unfolds in The Last Romance.  Written by Joe Di Petro who also wrote I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change and Over the River and Through the Woods, this gentle hearted script finds incurable romantic Ralph, whose early ambition was to be an Opera singer, noticing Carol with her pooch at a dog park.  This comedy does not go smoothly.  Veteran actors to the Red Barn stage include Paul Chase, of Rice Lake, taking on the role of Ralph who is charming, flirtatious, and a bit of a tease.  Connie Olson, from Chetek plays Carol, who is an independent woman with a fear of commitment.  Add to the mix Rose Tagliatelle, 70 year old manipulative sister of Ralph, played by Teresa Olejniczak also from Chetek.  As Carol begins to trust Ralph, Rose, interferes whenever she can.  Rose worries about her brothers's health as well as both of their fears of ending up alone.
