Hardscrabble Players have been providing quality live entertainment for the residents of  northwest Wisconsin since 1962. These Thespians renovated the Red Barn, originally constructed in 1904, into their theatrical home in 1967.

 

The Red Barn Theatre/Hardscrabble Players, Inc. have completed an expansive renovation over the past few years. With The Red Barn Theatre being a seasonal business, ticket sales alone maintain the general maintenance, overhead, and production of its five-show season. The expansion was paid for by generous donations from our patrons and community.  

These donations allowed us to build an addition onto the back of the Barn, allowing for the following:

• Wheelchair accessibility ♦ Updating the electrical system

• Two additional handicap restrooms ♦ Improving sound system

• Easier access through main entrance ♦ Expanding our Artist Gallery

       ♦ A new floor in the house and on stage
