Coming to the Red Barn Theatre stage on August 2 are “The Wild Women of Winedale,” another hit comedy by RBT favorite playwrights Jesse Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten. The show runs through August 12 with no performance on Sunday.  Red Barn veteran, Terry Wiesner, directs a cast of accomplished actresses in this touching, funny, and quirky story of two sisters and one sister-in-law who collide at a crossroads in life while decluttering their lives.

Sheila Shaffer of Shell Lake plays the role of Fanny Wild Cantrelle.  Jill Stearns of Rice Lake takes another bow on the Barn stage this season as Willa Wild, and Mary Henkins of Rice Lake returns to the stage as Johnnie Fay “Jef” Wild.  Also from Rice Lake, Cindy Lammers capably handles two roles, Doreen Whitman and Glenda Bates. And finally, demonstrating her considerable acting chops is Ella Jansen, of Turtle Lake, who deftly takes on multiple supporting roles as Betty Dunlap, Flo Hudson, Nora Griffin, and Edith Macklin.

Featured in the Red Barn Gallery is the unique work of Sarah Fredrikson who uses techniques of needle felting to create two-dimensional art from roving wool.
